The day

A full day at Rosewood Estate.

You couldn’t have asked for a better day for this iconic Queensland location, overlooking the Gold Coast hinterland and all the way to the Pacific Ocean.

Rich florals and table designs, bright Australian sun, blue sky turning into pinks and purples as the sun went down. A reception venue with glass walls and fairy lights above. The most beautiful couple. All a photographer’s dream.

With so much colour on show, I shot mostly with Portra 800 overexposed 2 stops, and scanned on Frontier rather than my usual choice of Noritsu, for extra punch.
