The day

A weekend in Valbyparken.

With both bride and groom hailing from the States, most of the guests flew in for this special Copenhagen celebration. A vibrant welcome party in Fælledparken on Friday evening kicked the weekend off in style.

Saturday’s plans of a bike flotilla through the city were washed away by huge storms, but we stayed in high spirits and took photos in the rain instead. The sun came out just in time for the ceremony and led to an unforgettable evening of dancing, tears, hugs and incredible speeches.

With a lot of greenery in the locations, I shot mostly on Portra 800 plus Kentmere 400 for black and white support.
