How I look after your information. Updated 28 September 2026
I'm Andrew Tallon, an analog film wedding photographer based near Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm responsible for the information you share through this site. If you have a question about any of it, email me at hello@andrewtallon.com.
The form asks for your names, email address, wedding date and location, the package you're interested in and anything you'd like to tell me about your plans. It comes to me as an email and I use it to reply and, if we work together, to plan your wedding. Because you've asked me to get back to you, I don't need a separate yes from you for this. I don't add you to a mailing list and I never sell or share your details.
The website runs on a server in Sydney, Australia, hosted by Cloudways, part of DigitalOcean. The enquiry isn't saved on the website. It's sent straight to my inbox through Google Workspace, and the website keeps a copy of the outgoing email for 14 days in case one goes missing, then deletes it.
If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry within two years. If we do, I keep our emails for as long as I'm working on your photographs, and the booking and invoice records for five years, which Danish bookkeeping law asks for. You can ask me to delete anything sooner that I don't have to keep.
If you say yes in the cookie box, the site uses Google Analytics to show me which pages people visit, roughly where they're visiting from, what device they use and how they found the site. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_NYBLR2BCTY, which last up to 13 months. Google's advertising features are switched off. If you say no, Google Analytics never loads. Either way, the site remembers your answer in one cookie of its own, at_consent, for 12 months, and keeps a record of the answer (a random number, yes or no, and the time, nothing that identifies you) for 13 months so I can show it was asked properly. You can change your mind any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
The headings are set in a typeface from Adobe Fonts, so your browser fetches it from Adobe. Adobe sees your IP address to send the font but doesn't store it or set cookies. The Instagram photos at the bottom of each page are copies saved on this site, so nothing is loaded from Instagram unless you click through to it.
Google and Adobe are US companies. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the EU recognises as protecting your information to EU standards. The website's server is in Australia, which the EU hasn't assessed in the same way, so that transfer is covered by the EU's standard contractual clauses in my hosting provider's data processing agreement.
Photographs from weddings appear on this site only with the couple's permission. If you're in a photograph here and would like it taken down, tell me and I will.
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask me to correct or delete it. You can also object to how I use it, and take back a yes to analytics at any time. If you think I've handled your information badly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk. The quickest way to do any of this is an email to hello@andrewtallon.com.
This site uses Google Analytics to see how people find it. It only sets cookies if you accept, and they last up to 13 months. You can change your choice any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Privacy policy
